The Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America club (FCCLA) has a long history as a national organization since 1945 and a long history of service at Pisgah High School. The club was formerly known as Future Homemakers of America (FHA) and changed its official title in 1999. Pisgah FCCLA members work to fundraise for worthy causes through activities which involve not only the club but the entire campus. Current or previous enrollent in a family and consumer science class is required; however, if students are scheduled to be enrolled in a family and consumer science class in the second semester of a school year, they may join in the first semester of that same school year. A fee to be paid is the only additional requirement before students may join. Membership is available to students beginning the ninth grade year. In addition to fundraising activities, the club elects officers and a Mr. and Miss to represent the organization near the beginning of the school year.
The club sponsor is Mrs. Alison Johnson.
