•      Since 1974 Pisgah High School has enrolled members into the National Junior Beta Club roster, a list of leaders working to serve others.  The Junior Beta Club prepares students in grades seven and eight for membership in the Senior Beta Club in grades nine through twelve.  Students at PHS must maintain As and Bs in all classes throughout the previous school year in order to receive an invitation into the Junior Beta Club. A national affiliation fee is required to join, and students must maintain As and Bs in all classes to prevent the possibility of being placed on probation or being dismissed from the club.

Membership may provide students with more opportunities as they approach junior and senior year and begin applying for scholarships and jobs.  However, membership into the Senior Beta Club is separate, and other fees apply.

Students involved in the Junior Beta Club may also have the opportunity to attend beta conventions, school field trips, and assist with campus activities.  The club typically elects officers and a Mr. and Miss Junior Beta around homecoming.

The club sponsor is Mrs. Alison Gilbert.
