Since 1940 Pisgah High School has maintained an active roster of Senior Beta Club members. Current members at our school are selected from grades nine through twelve, and our clubs have earned multiple awards over the years at state and national Beta Club conventions.
Students at PHS must maintain As and Bs in all classes throughout the previous school year in order to receive an invitation into the Senior Beta Club. Students can receive an invitation into the club as early as their freshmen year of high school. Membership into the Senior Beta Club is separate from the Junior Beta Club, and other fees apply. A national affiliation fee is required to join, and students must maintain As and Bs in all classes to prevent the possibility of being placed on probation or being dismissed from the club. Students may transfer a membership from another school.
Membership may provide students with more opportunities as they approach junior and senior year and begin applying for scholarships and jobs. Students involved in the Senior Beta Club may also have the opportunity to attend beta conventions, school field trips, and assist with campus activities. The club typically elects officers and a Mr. and Miss Senior Beta around homecoming.
The club sponsors are Mrs. LaShawna Metz and Mrs. Crystal Phillips.
