- Mentoring Program — Designed to match students with collegiate students or industry professionals to get answers to educational and career questions.
- SME Scholarships — Over the past six years, the SME Education Foundationhas provided more than $11.7 million in scholarships to high school and college students, and inspired more than 60,000 students to explore a career in manufacturing.
- SME Knowledge & Resources — Technical papers, virtual labs, videos and advanced manufacturing channels help students with class projects to increase their knowledge and understanding of all things manufacturing.
- Competitions — Contests for students in CTE and pre-engineering programs begin locally, and continue through state and national levels.
- Innovation Tours — Tours of manufacturing facilities and trade shows, and visits to MFG Day open houses build awareness and showcase lucrative careers in advanced manufacturing.
