Library Mission Statement:
- Provide a sage and welcoming environment for all students.
- Provide equitable access to an updated and diverse collection that supports the curriculum and students' interests and needs.
- Provide instruction and guidance in using ideas and information through engaging learning experiences.
Library Vision:
The vision of the Rosalie School Library is to foster a lifelong love of reading and learning through an inclusive environment where students can explore, collaborate and develop critical thinking skills.
Library Policies:
- Students in kindergarten are allowed to check out one book.
- Students in grades 1-8 are allowed to check out three books for a period of two weeks.
- After two weeks, students must return their books or renew them.
- No fines are charged for overdues.
- Books that are lost or damaged must be paid for per Jackson County Board of Education policy.
- Circulation privileges may be suspended if library policies are not followed.
Library Rules:
- Listen to the Librarian/Teacher
- Inquire (ask) if you need help
- Be respectful of others
- Read and talk quietly
- Always walk, never run
- Return your books on time
- Your manners are appreciated
