Mrs. Susan Smith

I graduated from Stevenson High School in 1985.  I participated in band, track, and basketball.  I then attended Northeast Alabama Community College and then Athens State College.  I started my teaching career at Richard Hardy Memorial School.  I taught middle school there for 15 years.  I then taught at Marion County High School for 14 years and retired in Tennessee. I have a Master's degree as well as a degree in Educational Leadership.

I have a farm full of animals; 3 horses, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 25 chickens.  I never had children of my own, but I feel like my students are mine!  

I began teaching at North Sand Mountain High School in 2009.  I teach 7th grade math.  I love NSM and I love teaching middle school math.  I love being at NSM and hope to stay till I retire again!
