• Class Syllabus 7-8 grade   
    Materials needed: colored pencils, drawing paper, notebook paper, and pen/pencil.

    Texbook:7th science, 7th and 8th history

    Course Content: The Alabama Course of Study will be followed

    Grading: Grades will come from tests (test can be given at any time), class work, homework, and classroom participation.

    A=90-100

    B=80-89

    C=70-79

    D=60-69

    F=59-0

    All make-up exams are given on Monday morning. If you miss a test, it is your responsibility to set up a time with the teacher to make it up.

    Progerss reports will be sent out every 4 and a half weeks. Every student witll receive a progress report.

    The academic misconduct policy of the school will be followed in this course.

    The attendance policy is as follows: Any student not in their seat when the tardy bell rings will be tardy.

    All requests for accommodation, for this course or any school event are welcome, from students and parents.

    Any student who receives failing grades during this course is urged to discuss this with his teacher.

     

     

    Discipline Plan   
    Class Rules: Students at this age level know how to act. They also know what is right and what is wrong. If the student acts like and adult he or she will be treated like one. If the student acts childish they will be treated like a child.

    Expectations:

    1.I expect the student to be in their seat when the tardy bell rings.

    2.I expect the student to stay seated until they have permission to get backup . this also means to leave at the end of the block.

    3.I expect to bring homework with them to class.

    4.I expect students to bring books, paper, pen and pencil everyday.

    Punishment For Breaking Rules:

    1.Warning

    2.Punishment (written or corporal)

    3.Corporal Punishment

    4.Student will be turned over ot the Principal/Assistant Principal
