JaCo Fine Arts Program Logo

  • The JaCo Fine Arts Program is an enrichment and outreach opportunity for 3rd-12th grade students in Jackson County. During school hours, 7th and 8th graders are invited to the Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy to learn what the fine arts have to offer! We play theatre games, discuss color theory and painting techniques, build puppets, create t-shirts, and so much more! We are excited for our students to be able to discover and exercise their artistic abilities through this program!

  • 🎄✨ We’re Excited to Present a New Event: The Jackson County Christmas Spectacular! 🌟🎶

    We’re thrilled to launch this brand-new holiday tradition, showcasing the amazing talents of Jackson County students in a Christmas-themed talent show!

    🎤 Sing, 💃 dance, 🎸 play an instrument, or share another holiday talent — solo or with a group. Just be sure to audition with the act you plan to perform.

    👉 Audition Details:

    • Open to students in grades 3–12.

    • Acts must be Christmas-themed.

    • Acts must be no longer than 5 minutes.

    • Performances should match the audition.

    • Solo or group numbers are welcome.

    • Up to 15 acts will perform on December 6th.

    • School-day performances are also in the works! 🎁
